QR Codes
Wonzly automatically generates a downloadable QR code for every short link you create. This bridges the gap between your physical marketing materials and your digital presence.
Where to use QR Codes
QR codes are perfect for physical, real-world interactions where typing a URL would be tedious:
- Restaurant menus
- Real estate signs
- Business cards and networking
- Direct mail campaigns
- Event badges and ticketing
- Product packaging
Dynamic Routing: Because your QR code points to a Wonzly short link, Premium users can change the destination URL in the dashboard at any time without having to reprint their QR codes!
Downloading your QR Code
- Navigate to your Dashboard.
- Find the link you want to generate a code for in your link list.
- Click the QR Code icon next to the link.
- A modal will appear displaying your high-resolution QR code.
- Click Download to save it as a PNG file.
Best Practices for Printing
When placing QR codes on physical materials, ensure they are:
- Large enough: At least 1 inch (2.5 cm) square.
- High contrast: Keep a dark code on a light background. Inverting colors can cause some smartphone cameras to fail.
- Uncluttered: Leave a "quiet zone" (white space) around the borders of the QR code so cameras can easily lock on.
